Starting Pay: $28.83/hour
The
Field Training Supervisor at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the training and development of security personnel. This role involves facilitating training sessions, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The supervisor will also create training materials and provide coaching to staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to specialists as needed.
- Trains employees and job candidates; Classroom and on-the-job training, conducts drills, and training in health and safety practices.
- Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training, on-the-job training as required for purposes of certifications and under the terms of client contracts.
- Confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
- Updates and develops training curriculum
- Develops training schedules in conjunction with management.
- Follows appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulations exercises, role playing, and computer-based training.
- Organizes training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluations materials, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
- Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance of training activities, and to monitor progress of trainees.
- Document interactions (audits, coaching, etc.) and report findings to leadership.
- Cross train with Training and Development Supervisors to serve as a back-up.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Standard computer / technology skills needed
- Reliable, accountable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
- Customer service background preferred
- Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally
- Great attention to detail
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license for state of assignment and insurable driving record
- Reliable means of communication & transportation
- Advanced ability to speak, read, and write English
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience, customer service, or hospitality experience
- Ability to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
